Terms of use
These terms cover your use of this website. Using the site means you agree to them. Effective date: November 6, 2026.

What this site is for
The pages here describe grinder pump, sewage ejector pump and lift station services offered in Baldwin and Mobile counties, Alabama, and explain how these systems work. The explanations are general information drawn from manufacturer manuals and utility documents. They are not a diagnosis of your system and do not replace an on-site visit.
Safety
Nothing on this site tells you to work inside a control panel, handle pump wiring, or enter a pump basin or wet well, and you should not do any of those things. The homeowner steps described here are the manufacturers' own published steps, such as silencing an alarm or reducing water use. Anything beyond that is for a qualified technician. If you follow a step on this site, you do so at your own risk.
Utility rules
Sewer utility rules quoted on this site were accurate on the date shown on each page, with a link to the source. Utilities change their policies, and an address can sit on a different system than its town name suggests. Confirm the rule with your utility before relying on it, and tell us if you find one that has changed.
Service requests
Sending a request through the contact form does not by itself create a service agreement. Work begins only after we have confirmed the visit with you and explained the scope. The form is not an emergency dispatch system; if sewage is backing up or the alarm is on, follow the emergency page, including calling your utility first where the utility asks for that.
Content and links
The text, photographs and illustrations on this site belong to Grinder Pump Gents or are used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without written consent. Manufacturer and utility names appear only to identify their products and documents. Links to other websites are provided for reference; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Limits
To the extent allowed by Alabama law, Grinder Pump Gents is not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of information on this site. Nothing here limits any right you have under Alabama consumer law or any written agreement for work we perform.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, and any dispute about them is heard in the courts of Baldwin County, Alabama. Updated terms are posted on this page with a new effective date.
