Grinder pump tools
Two short tools built for the two questions that come up on almost every call in Baldwin and Mobile counties: who owns and repairs the grinder pump at this address, and what the alarm on the panel is trying to say.
Both give their answer on the page, with a link to the utility rule or the problem page behind it, so you can check the reasoning instead of taking our word for it.

Plate LIII. Two tools, presented as fine silver. Neither requires you to open anything.

Who owns my grinder pump?
Pick your town; get who owns, who may repair and who may replace the pump on that system, with the utility's own rule linked.
Open the toolPlate LII. Every utility in its drawer. His Grace has looked it up so you need not.

Grinder pump alarm troubleshooter
Answer a few questions about the lights and the horn; get the manufacturer's steps for your panel and the right problem page.
Open the toolPlate IV. His Grace has heard enough.
Why these two
Nearly every expensive mistake with a grinder pump here comes from one of two gaps. Owners pay for a replacement the utility would have supplied, or wait on a utility that has said in writing it will not come. And owners either ignore an alarm that needed attention within the day or panic over a light that was a warning rather than an emergency. A town name and a panel description are enough to close both gaps.
How the answers are built
The lookup draws on the utility-by-utility rules quoted on the who-owns-my-pump pages, each with its source document and the date it was read. The troubleshooter draws on the manufacturer manuals behind the problem pages: E-One, Keen, Liberty, Zoeller, Myers and Barnes. Neither tool invents an answer; where a utility has not published a rule, the lookup says so.
Questions people ask
Do the tools replace a service call?
They replace the first ten minutes of one. The lookup tells you whether to call the utility or a plumber; the troubleshooter tells you what to do while you wait and whether it can wait. Neither can see your pump.
What if my town is not in the lookup?
Some utilities have not published a rule, and some towns sit on more than one system. The tool says so when that is the case; send your address with a service request and the rule is confirmed with the utility before the visit.
